According to Wikipedia, South Porcupine is a neighborhood in Timmins Ontario that has kept its own pre incorporation identity and post office. It was established in 1907 as a mining town, burned down in 1911 and rebuilt within months.
The town is located on the eastern shore of Porcupine Lake. The population of Timmons is just over 42,000 so South Porcupine has to be quite a small part of this.
