A unique rendering of the Eiffel Tower or Le Tour Eiffel. It is a relief chromolithograph made from an etching by Borelli. The picture is dramatically framed and matted with a linen mat and a gold and silver frame made of metal painted to look like distressed wood. The back is sealed.
The very small picture of the tower (3.5 by 4.75 inches) is printed on textured gold paper and looks to be hand colored with some white paint and watercolor wash.
The framed measurements are 10.5 by 11.75 inches. It has both a hook and a wire on the back for hanging.
Condition is unused. I say that because the previous owner had not removed the lithographie a relief sticker on the front. The back has a label guaranteeing it is a limited edition chromolithograph in 4 languages.
I have had a terrible time photographing this picture. I tried inside and out with all kinds of lighting and all I seem to get is reflections and glare. The second pic is the best for color of print and frame.
